My computer runs hot every-time this program downloads or does internal diagnostics and eventually freezes my computer. It's an excellent program but I had to shut it down on start up, and use it sparingly.

Ad-Aware anti-spyware, anti-adware program component.
They also sell Anti-Virus program(s).
They have free programs too.
You can get them from www.CNET.com, where there are a LOT of freeware programs, and all are checked for viruses, malware, etc - through their system before you d/l them. more information.
